Monique and I are back and forth. She can say anything to me, and vice versa. I live in New York and Monique lives in California so we do not really see much so much like the past five years or something else. Taking this plane, everything will change. Monique (not her real name) Monique and her child originally came from Ghana, and lived in England for about 10 years. They originally settled in West Midlands. The children soon learned English, and their neighbors were very enthusiastic. Monique found a job at a local school and was pleased that she decided to come to the UK to provide a better life for the family. The situation began to change in the weeks leading to the EU referendum in June 2016. The children encountered racist hostility at school and the other children told them they would be kicked out of the country. Bullying has had a great impact on their emotional health - they become lonely and affect self-confidence at school and at home

I climbed the old marble staircase to the living room of Monique. Monique is 81 years old and lives in Dieulefit for the rest of my life. Her living room was full of memories of a strong and happy family ties; from her grandfather's chair to the biscuit in the bottle it became a percussion instrument. A village cat is in her bed - Monique's house is used as her bedroom during the day. That is the only thing that cat Monique can become a pet. We sat down and Monique started talking. Born in 1935, she is an only child. Her Italian grandfather moved to France with his wife during the war. He was an orphan and refused to live with Mussorini's Fascist regime. They have a large family, but few children survive. Life is very difficult. Monique's father worked in this place for teenagers but found a mentor for a local school teacher (Virgin Barrell) who invited him to study on weekdays for his beliefs.
