Most people have heard at least his name. Mohandas Gandhi is one of the most famous people in our modern history. He was born and raised as a Hindus. And it is an outstanding leader of Indian nationalism who dominated India in the UK. He led India's independence and influenced many civil rights movement around the world. Gandhi was also the leader of the Indian National Congress in 1921 and in fact became a major figure in the struggle for Indian independence. He is known for his many accomplishments.
