You can imagine today's American life without the concepts of democracy, libraries, alphabets, art, philosophy, mathematics, and certain architectural features. (Anonemuss, 2010) Without these innovations and many other innovations, everyday life changes suddenly. So where do we get these ideas? It dates back to Greeks and Romans. Many aspects of modern life are influenced by their culture, thoughts and inventions. Then there is another question: Whether classical Greek or classical Rome had more influence on contemporary America.

Early Greece and Rome made a great contribution to Western civilization. Early Greek and Roman cultures were handed down, but still affected the modern lifestyle. Ancient Greece consisted of an isolated city state (polar), but the early Roman cities expanded to the empire. Agriculture is the major economic activity of ancient Greece and ancient Rome. Ancient Greeks began to become a city state (polar) around 800 BC. Geographical features are mountainous areas and irregular coastline. The countries of the city are along the coastline and are separated from each other by the landscape of the hilly land. Polar regions include Athens, Thebes, Delphi, Celeron, Olympia, Argos, Collins, Mycenae (Burckhardt, 2002). The Greek colonization in the Mediterranean region is in the form of an extension of an isolated city state.

First, thought schools developed under the influence of modern Greek nationalism are regarding Roman identity as a medieval form of the Greek state. In this view, the Byzantines thought that they themselves were Romans or Romans, despite knowing that they were ethnic Greeks, as ancestral Greeks and heirs of Romans . In the official discourse, "all the inhabitants of the empire is the subject of the emperor, therefore the subject of the Romans." Therefore, the main definition of Romeus is "political or nationalism". In order to become a mature, undoubted "Roman" it is best to become a Greek Orthodox Christian and a Greek in at least one public role. But the cultural consistency that is being pursued between Byzantine style churches and orthodox and Greek nation is not enough and it is not intended to erase different identities.

The Greek civilization had a strong influence on the Roman Empire. Indeed, among contemporary scholars, there are people who believe that the Roman period is the continuation of the same civilization and named it "Greek and Roman." In any case, the conquest of Rome brought much of the characteristics of the Greek civilization to the Mediterranean world and remote areas of Western Europe. Therefore, through the mediation of the Romans Greek civilization became the basis of Western civilization. The geographic scope of the ancient Greek civilization has undergone a major change in its history. It began in Greece and the islands of the Aegean Sea and West Coast of Asia Minor (Modern Turkey). This is the view of the mountains and the sea. The land used for cultivation lies in the bottom of the valley and is surrounded by steep hills and small islands restricted by water. Therefore, ancient Greece is composed of many small regions with their own dialect, cultural identity, and identity, respectively.
