Model Programs Guide | OJJDP

The OJJDP's Model Planning Guide (MPG) can be searched online in a database of evidence-based juvenile justice and pubertal prevention, intervention, and reentry projects. Capturing MPG is reviewing programs related to law enforcement activities and initiatives, including security strategies for young people. OJJDP also supports the National Juvenile Judiciary Center, the National Juvenile Family Court Judge Committee, the International Police Chiefs' Association, the American Society for P astudiaton Association, the Juvenile Correction Management Committee, and performance based research institutions. Researchers at the Standard Learning Institute and the Juvenile Department of Justice Department of the State of Florida develop and implement a juvenile justice model data project

In Louisiana there are various juvenile courses. There are two programs that work very well. The first project was a demo project guide, one of the first projects used by Louisiana juvenile justice judge. It was modified and updated from MPG to 2013. According to OJJDP (2013), the Juvenile Judicial Crime Prevention Bureau (OJJDP) Demonstration Project Guide (MPG) contains information on juvenile justice and adolescents prevention, intervention and re-entry projects based on evidence.
