In the MMR vaccine controversy, fraud thesis by Andrew Wakefield, first published in Lancet in 1998, provided erroneous evidence that the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps and rubella immunity is normal) is false. The first time a child was given immediately after the first birthday was associated with the onset of autism spectrum disorder. Articles were widely criticized for lack of scientific rigor and partially withdrawn by Wakefield co-authors in 2004 and fully recovered by The Lancet in 2010.
It all means that measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccines are associated with autistic risk in children when doctor Andrew Wakefield of former British doctor in 1998 published a paper on "Lancet" I suggested. In this paper, Dr. Wakefield believes that the behavior of children who received MMR vaccines has changed. Dr. Wakefield's research relating MMR vaccine to autism is very wrong. Firstly, the sample size used for the survey was very small. This study covered only 12 children from 3 to 10 years old, of which 11 were boys and 1 were girls. This research was also done in a highly unethical manner. Data was collected from blood samples taken from children on these sons' 10th birthday. In exchange, these children will be paid by Dr. Wakefield.
