Mistreatment: a Vicious Cycle in Women's History

Throughout history women have always been regarded as belongings. Rights not only are given to men but so-called rights give women the power of men. Chinese family power relations began with marriage negotiations, gift exchanges and dowry complex dances, and lasted for the remainder of the women's lifetime. Bride negotiations are not from love, affection, or her interest but from family, money, and marriage.

In the history of humankind, we found that women are being abused by almost every country and culture. Abuse and discrimination against women is a rule more than exemption. Religion in the world has the same property than other parts of the world. In this article we will study and discuss women's role and influence in the world's two most important and widely known religions, Buddhism and Hinduism. The status of women in Hinduism is unknown. Traditionally women should serve their husbands and not have autonomy. As Hindu comes from many different sources and traditions, Hindu sacred work has many philosophical contradictions. On the other hand, primarily early, some Hindu sacred works give great value to women and are considered sacred symbols. Women are considered lower life

Through marriage of children, murder of women's children, through sale of children, Indian women are being oppressed. This pressure forced women to be inferior to men's position, so they started a vicious circle, and the position of women seems to be getting worse.
