Mississippi was the 20th state of the league and it was not until 1822 that they changed it to Jackson to own the Natchez Parliament. Religion is Catholic, but many protests have begun. In 1799, the three major religions became Baptist church, Methodist church, Presbyterian church. In the 1800s, cotton became a huge resource in the state of Mississippi, and changed the lives of Indians, white Americans, and slaves. The Indians always handed the land to the Caucasian, and since they are far away from them, the Caucasian became the main owner of cotton.
CB: There are several things in the Mississippi River - American culture has a lot of history, influence and symbolism. The river town is thus separated. When "home" is related to important aspect of physical landscape such as river and ocean, the attitude toward people's consciousness of whereabouts is different. Does the Driftless project apply to any of these museums? JV: Of course. A few years ago, I took a photo trip and took me to his father's home town in Portsmouth, Ohio. He never looked back at the age of 17, so I did not get in touch as there are many families. We spent July 4th in the river, and it was difficult to be inspired by the symbol of the river - inspiration, renewal, movement, separation, evolution. Portsmouth is an area consisting of three states, the town grows with the growth of the river, but for economic reasons it is now a dying city.
Many of Mark Twain's works are handled and occur near the Mississippi River. A piece of his first major work, living in the Mississippi River, part of the history of the river, part of the memoir of Twain's experiences in the river, and a series of stories related to the river that occurred in the river. Twain's most famous piece, "New adventure of Huckleberry Finn" is mainly along the river. This novel is a plot of meditation in American culture and the river has many different meanings including independence, escape, freedom and adventure.
