My report is in Mission Santa Ines, 35 miles north of Santa Barbara, between the hilly areas near the Saintes Needs River. This mission was founded by Father Estebantapis on 17th September 1804 and is the 19th duty along El Camino Real. In the early 1700s, the Spanish country sent many explorers to Western European countries and sought for wealth. When California was founded by Spanish explorers such as Cabrillo and De Anza, Spain decided to dispatch missionaries and start a mission. A total of 21 missions were built in California.

Mission Santa Barbara, known as the "Queen of Mission", played a central role in the headquarters in the mission chain in the late eighteenth century. The mission was named Santa Rosa de Dos Santos in 1733. The founder and the first missionary were Father Segismundo Taraval. The name was changed later. Between 1748 and 1749, the task of Nuestra Señoradel Pilar had to give up. The religious ancestors of the Indians and La Paz moved to Todosantos' mission. Since then, its mission has been called NuestraSeñoradelPilarde Todos Santos. The complex consists of an ancient church and a more modern building. The sanctuary is rectangular from the south to the north and the interior is divided into two parts by the side door.
