"People learn more from the media than any other single source" (misrepresentation). This sentence shows how society learns and creates standards for people, places and things. Every media source and media influences the lives of billions of people every day. The media has this power in society, and it is time to change it; especially as it relates to the recognition of women in the media. Women are often distorted. This distortion of women in the media adversely affects the United States by corroding young people and adults.

MS 10: After attending an introduction to media research, I fell in love with media research. So, I faced the challenge of thinking more critically about the media information consumed everyday as I was exposed to women's distortions in the media. At the same time, I participate in the first computer science course I first studied coding. Media research and CS are completely different, but complementary to each other. Many of my media research courses have examined how users create content using software - generated techniques. In my media research course, I always want to know how these social media platforms are constructed so that users can create their own content using their own voice. Therefore, I decided to major in Computer Science. Outside of the classroom, I consulted the client and I participated in Berkeley Innovation, a design organization for people who provided UX / UI design solutions.
An important part of my advocacy as a social innovator and a cultural curator is to develop with emphasis on the urgent need to fight color distorted women in the media. I founded BLACK GIRLS ROCK! In 2006, a new paradigm was created that black women can celebrate and express our own beauty, women, and darkness, and emphasize our sparkle in our own way It was. Today, BLACK GIRLS ROCK! It has developed into an international movement linking black women of Diaspora in Africa. When I started this work, I thought that I was neither a leader nor a changer. I am a black woman only responding to the constantly toxic media message of degenerating black women and girls, making them inhumane and deteriorating.
