I opened the media of today on the sofa. I have read the news headlines. I am shocked because today's media continues and beautifies the unrealistic reality of contemporary people. For over 20 years, the mainstream media and the history of cultural ideals have shaped the public's perception of the ideal generation Y of the present age. In addition, the behavior of modern generation Y is determined by various factors including media and magazines. Media draws the current Y generation as an addictive technology.
Generation Y is widely regarded as a generation born between 1980 and 2000. This generation is full of confidence, independence, and goal orientation. Technological progress began with the X generation, but the Y generation was born in the field of technology and generally knows the digital world better than their teachers and parents. With advanced technical knowledge, this generation has become an era where anyone can access from anywhere. Generation Y has high self esteem; they are generations of trophies that allow each child to win medals and praise without leaving anyone behind.
This revolution is not just technology and digital tools. This is how these trends combine with the new lifestyles of the Y and Z generations. These generations have less ability to consume and decide spending based on various new humanitarian, social and environmental problems. Whatever happens to the "digital revolution", these and future generations can not live like grandparents. Some examples clearly show these changes. Even with the same education and skills (and sometimes even more) as the elders, it is now difficult for the younger generation to become property owners. Therefore, certain requests such as ownership of cars will soon be very rare - in fact, the average age of new car purchasers has changed from 44 years old in 1991 to 56 years old in 2016. Likewise, the large supermarket model is facing increasing distrust of mass consumption on important issues of nutrition and health.
