Mis Education of the Negro

Black education began long before the Civil War. Missionaries were dispatched to the south to teach the slaves released, and schools began to form. Instead of helping blacks grow, they change them to what they want and start to make them learn what they want to learn. Free people who think they are well educated teach other free people, but there are no other courses besides whites who educate black people away from historic white people. Blacks are excluded from all educational programs, except to depict blacks as savages or as savages.

Woodson, in a famous book published in 1933, entitled "Misunderstanding of the Negro", because "educated black man" is in both his school and mixed school, he has a derogatory attitude I write that it is taking. Blacks are taught to acknowledge contempt for Africans as well as Hebrew, Greek, Latin, and German. "Racial prejudice," he concluded, "Only the logical result of the tradition is the inevitable result of a thorough guidance of the black people, do not contribute to human progress. These statements summarize the main arguments of Carter Woodson's innovative work "Black Error Education". The father of the black history (formerly the history of the black) did not start living with privilege, wealth, or power. In fact, he could not go to school regularly until he was nineteen. But this person became one of America's most influential thinkers in the 20th century. Unlike many others at the time, Woodson said that slavery and unfair racial separation hurt black opportunities, not only infringed their citizenship but also impaired their identity and self-esteem I noticed. One of the keys to lifting these people is to educate them about their history and the great achievements of their predecessors, even if they face great difficulties.
