In 2054, due to the elite law enforcement unit "Precrime", A. D. crime was almost eliminated from Washington, DC. They predict the future and use three talented people (called "pre-cogs") with special abilities to predict crime in advance. John Anderton is responsible for Precrime and I am convinced that this system is perfect. But one day, Pre-Cogs predicted that Anderton would commit suicide within the next 36 hours.
