37 schools were used as evaluation center of G.C.E. (A / L) exam will be resumed for the third semester on September 6. All other schools will resume for the third semester on 3rd September 2018. Only 37 schools were used as evaluation center of G.C.E. (A / L) exam is completed from August 23, 2018 to September 5, 2017. These schools will resume the third semester on Thursday, September 6, 2018. Except for Muslim schools, the third semester of all schools starts on Monday, September 3, 2018. B.1 Structure of Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education There are two divisions in charge of training teachers in Afghanistan. These are the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE). The Ministry of Education is in charge of educational institutions, higher education vocational schools (IHE), and universities, each of whom has a four-year degree. The Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology Development (MoHTES and TD) is in charge of public and private universities, technical education and teacher education.
