Mimicking the Natural Environment

In Clifford Geertz's article Two Ecosystems that mimics the natural environment, he insisted that the uneven distribution of Indonesia's population is directly related to various agricultural methods used in agriculture in densely populated areas and depopulated areas doing. When studying the landscape architecture, I used to treat plants as adornments. Throughout the study, I better understand their function, and now I will focus on simulating natural processes in a controlled environment to improve plant cultivation systems. I am a plant scientist and I'm more and more interested in how nature works and how to use technology as a tool to "communicate" with plants. Plantgeek is a very small laboratory (only 3 out of us) working on a limited budget and dream of excessive achievement. We tried to collect a large amount of data set by combining a low cost sensor and automation platform and destroy rule book for plant planting, but MELiSSA project has been around for nearly 30 years, more than 40 companies are research projects I participated in. My job is only a small part of a very large system.

Forest occupies about a fifth of the world's land and plays an important role in our daily life (Dadeli 4). Forests provide us with many products and services that will help us keep erosion and provide employment opportunities for citizens. Humans depend on the survival of healthy ecosystems and deforestation is causing many social, economic and ecological problems.
