From 1985 to 1991, Gorbachev was the Communist leader of the Soviet Union. Gorbachev grew up on a very poor under-group farm. After graduation, Mikhail moved to Starborg and worked for the government, and fifteen years later, Gorbachev was elected a judge of the Russian Supreme Court. The rise of CPSU leader Mikhail Gorbachev brought unprecedented change in the relationship between the US and the Soviet Union. Initially American communists welcomed Gorbachev's initiative to rebuild and revitalize Soviet socialism. But as the reform progressed, neo-liberal leaders Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher began praising Gorbachev and the communists urged to double their ratings. Since the liberalization of the Soviet system began to introduce the worse aspect of Western society into the Soviet Union, the leader Gushall accused these reforms as an anti-revolution to restore capitalism in 1989. This effectively liquidates the relationship between the two Communist Parties that will dissolve within two years.
