The term Orientalism represents the depiction of various features of the Middle Eastern culture by Western writers. Some of these works positively show oriental culture, but most of them are biased, emphasizing the negative aspects of existing or imaginary aliens in oriental culture. Over the centuries, Western designers, writers, and even artists have tried to portray various aspects of oriental culture. A famous scholar, Edward Said, actually talked about various aspects of orientalism in his work on this subject (1978).

"Alienation" between Western culture and Oriental culture is called Orientalism. Orientalism refers to the expression that oriental culture is homogeneous and obsolete and "foreigner" as depicted in the costumes shown above (Klassen 133). The Western world contrasted with the east and created these expressions to protect colonial intervention (Klassen 135). Orientalism is especially true for the representative history of the Easter of the West Middle East (Klassen 133). Recognition of the West 's "dangers" of Arabs and Muslims has been recognized by politicians and authorities (Klassen 133) to create Islamic phobia and sanctioned military operations like the war in Afghanistan. As seen in the costumes of the above STARS posters, these orientalism and the performance of Islamic phobia continue in popular culture.

The core of orientalism is the legitimacy of imperialism, drawing Oriental culture as unexplored Western culture in some sense. Therefore, the "culturally advanced" Western responsibility is to maintain that colony in other countries, which are proven in occupation and governance of other countries. Abandoning this cultural disparity in such a negative way basically planted an incredible foreign phobia in Western culture, especially in the United States. This simple, racist, rigid, single "Asian" image is easy to buy, ridiculously, as a smile, obedient person. I think that it is easier for many people to treat each person as a single cultural identity rather than exploring the extent of oriental culture; Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Vietnamese etc I am suddenly Asian.
