Review of social grammar: essence and motivation of social norm Herbert Gintis is a follow-up of excellent work of "rationality and coordination" of Cristina Bicchieri in 1993. In that book, Bicchieri correctly identified the central weakness of classical game theory as an inappropriate theory about how individuals acquire and change their beliefs. The commonality of faith ("ordinary a priori") is a prerequisite for a reasonable actor to achieve Nash equilibrium, but classical theory does not have a model of belief acquisition. In that volume, Beech Riley did a brave attempt to provide such a theory, but her model only applies to some simple forms of strategic interaction. In this book, Bicchieri gave up personal learning and turned to social norm as a basis for commonness of faith. Bicchieri distinguishes social norms, customs, and "description norms", but her analysis actually applies to everyone. The unmodified assumption in this book is that the social norm must include altruism or other related preferences of other forms. But in fact, nothing in this book is dependent on this distinction. Indeed, Bicchieri has developed a detailed behavior game theory model of altruistic cooperation and punishment. Regarding these, it is not important that the social norms are self-constrained or otherwise concentrated. Bicchieri believes that social norms are "embedded in scripts" and thus create a common point of beliefs. In other words, there is a social clue that tells all participants "normative" for specific social situations. I believe that she is very correct in this view. Social norms are not just a Nash equilibrium - they are highly elaborate based on a deep understanding of individual social cues. Since at least Schelling (1960) and Lewis (1969), social theorists have interpreted social norms and practices as Nash equilibrium. Recent contributions based on this important idea include Ken Binmore's Natural Justice (2005). This idea helps explain social norms and practices, but it has all the drawbacks of the Nash equilibrium concept. Treating social norms as Nash equilibrium ignores important points about social norms. They are real social institutions that can cause causal effects, especially as a means of adjustment. This is in stark contrast to the Nash equilibrium concept, which is an explanation of events without material instantiation. Social norms are confirmed, cultivated, learned, taught, and can be described empirically without relying on game theory. In all known societies there are many social norms and practices that are suitable for coordinating social problems and in fact it is an important cause for coordinating human behavior. Bicchieri has deep insight into the impact of the code of conduct and experimental economics on social norms and the Bayesian rational interaction model. It should provide rich heart to researchers interested in formal modeling of cognitive and evolutionary social theory.
With these problems, people are eager to know why Microsoft Word is used first. In the past, Microsoft Word was a new risk processor, people who gave up Word Perfect for Microsoft Word were considered heretic. Despite its poor reputation, well-developed, powerful, well-maintained and widely adopted software, except for Microsoft Word, I really do not know the answer. The answer will always be returned in Word, requested or sent to the professional document service team of the law firm and asked to convert that document to Word. This is not only the format of the document, but lawyers are extremely worried about the style of the document (as well as most people with background against the law). Microsoft Word is the most popular Word document program in the world. Depending on the law, format or type of individual paper you wrote, each paper requires its own format guide.
