Microsoft opens its own path and expects everyone to have access to the Internet and home handheld devices and computers in the future. Their talent always continues, and they want to continue. From the beginning Microsoft has established a joint venture with other companies, and is the leader in computer innovation. Microsoft partnered with Apple in 1982 to develop a Macintosh prototype.

In 1985, Gates and Microsoft took different risks. They released the Microsoft Windows operating system. This is Microsoft 's answer to Apple' s similar operating system released in 1984. At first, many people complained that Microsoft Windows is not as good as Apple version. However, Gates continues to promote the concept of open PC. Microsoft Windows runs on various PC compatible machines, but the Apple operating system only works on Apple machines. Microsoft won the battle for the operating system and soon installed nearly 90% of the world's personal computers

Windows CE-based Microsoft smartphone and mobile device mobile operating system. It is designed to display and manipulate desktop versions similar to Microsoft Windows. Microsoft released Windows Embedded Handheld 5 in 2011. It is a Windows Mobile 5 compatible mobile operating system designed for enterprise mobile and handheld computing devices, but Windows Mobile has been replaced by Windows Phone 7. The mobile operating system for smartphones and mobile devices is the successor to Microsoft's first mobile operating system platform, Windows Mobile. Unlike Windows Mobile, Windows Phone 7 (also known as WinPhone 7) targets the consumer market rather than the enterprise market, replacing the traditional Microsoft Windows operating system with the new "Metro" design system user interface.

In 2009, Microsoft announced the update of Windows 8 - Windows operating system designed to be at the forefront of the rapidly growing mobile industry. One of the main new features of Windows 8 is the ability to provide a UI that can compatibly support traditional desktop (cursor) and tablet (touch) with a single operating system. The operating system worked very badly without detailed instructions, especially on desktop computers. I do not think the idea that Microsoft creates a hybrid operating system is inherently wrong. It is not a basic premise, but a poor implementation of Windows 8 may be the biggest weakness. Actually, Windows 10 is built on the same premise, but its prospects are more positive than its predecessors.
