The latter half of the 15th century was the beginning of European discovery and expansion. In the course of discovering these years there is tremendous power to promote expansion. The main forces of Spain and Portugal are the desire for the wealth of gold and silver, the acquisition of new land for nobility, and the spread of Christianity. The conquest of Latin America by Spain and Portuguese offered us the ultimate pursuit of these drivers.
The difference between Latin and indigenous people is rooted in culture, far beyond biological differences. Indigenous people who speak Spanish rather than their mother tongue and who use traditional costumes and culture for Spanish customs are often considered Latin Americans regardless of their biological context. Traditionally, these mixed-race centers were not accepted by the Spanish white society and were not accepted by indigenous peoples. The indigenous Maya itself consists of many different groups with autonomous cultural traditions, speaking different languages, and usually identified by their different characteristics. There are many ideas about what constitutes an autonomous cultural group, but in Guatemala there are 22 to 28 Maya populations. For a list of languages in Guatemala, please see the Summer Linguistics Institute.
The culture of Guatemala is a unique product of the Native American way and the powerful colonial heritage of Spain. About half of the population of Guatemala is a mixed race (called ladino in Guatemala), a mixture of Europeans and indigenous people. The culture of Ladino dominates urban areas and is greatly influenced by trends in Europe and North America. However, unlike many Latin American countries Guatemala has a unique identity, talks about Maya, follows traditional religious and rural customs, and continues to have a rich tradition of textiles and other crafts There are still many indigenous Maya.
European and indigenous culture Heroic savior and authoritarian oppressor in the history of Mexico. Rivera showed how this country overcomes the shame of conquest and becomes a new race Their blood is best in Europe and America. Rivera depicts the whole picture of everything that happened - good and evil - as a unified whole. Review of the four choices of Ribera's works, including early posters of the revolutionary period, will help explain how his unique style affects the Mexican identity. Rivera's style is very different from other artists, especially the way he draws people. Many of his mural paintings contain excellent portraits of famous people, but his mural paintings are not just a number of portraits from important Mexican figures. In front of artists like Rivera, portraits depict people who have given them social roles.
