The similarity of these two personality is that they do not believe in God, they are lonely and abandoned.

The end of these two stories supports the foundation of existentialism by showing the following rules: responsibility, solitude, abandonment, uncontrollable behavior and nonvolatility-causing behavior and non-participation.
