Merrill Lynch Internship Experience

This summer I was a Merrill Lynch intern at Towson, Maryland, USA. I work for 8 weeks, 5 days a week, average 30 hours. There are many Merrill Lynch offices in the area of ​​Balee and Washington DC. There are many offices and consultants in Annapolis and Baltimore. There are only about 15 consultants and 4 client assistants in the Towson area. However, almost all of these consultants began their career in Baltimore. Towson's office is for more sophisticated consultants who already have a strong customer list.

The plan has changed to the end of the university. That kind I was lucky enough to have an unpaid internship at Merrill Lynch when I attended college. I chose to write Excel macros and use Microsoft Access 0. This is my first technology experience. I like that. I decided to do a double major in financial and information systems. Fast forward for several years, I thought that it was time to move forward from JP Morgan Chase. Before being called by LTCM, I was interviewed in several places. Immediately after the interview, I decided not to interview anywhere else. Working at LTCM means that you have the opportunity to work with John Meriwether (who I first read at Liar Poker six or seven years ago) and some of the smartest financial officials. This is where I want to be. If you are a technician, this is equivalent to finding work with less than 50 employees on Google, Uber, 500 startups, Facebook or Twitter.
