Mencius believes that our nature and our idea is to determine our nature. Our fate determines our fate and we decide our life lease. Destiny was originally a patent of a landlord, the emperor as an agent of the Emperor of the Emperor. In long-term use, it is the fate of our life - the destiny of heaven. When people protect their hearts and decide their behavior, they can not decide their fate, it's in heavenly hands. Mensius thinks humanity is essentially superior, and everyone has a heart that is sensitive to suffering of others.
