Glory star, Cuban Guddin, as a real life navy diver, Calb Hill, despised the men's navy and became the first African-American navy diver. Sometimes near him, sometimes his opponent has people, Carl Brashear really admires. His name is Robert DeNiro. Sunday is promoted in various ways, Karl strengthens and helps becoming the person he wants to become.
I like Cuba in this movie. His description here is the same as the release and power of Denzel Washington in a hurricane. Throughout all the scenes, you can see his passion, motivation, stubbornness to realize his dreams. When he begins to take pride in his father, we can see his inner struggle. I also like how the director produced and brought a lot of tension in some important diving scenes. Meetings of submarines and Brashear during marine aid rescue mission are very refreshing.
The only mistake I can see is to support that actor. The roles of Cuba and Denilo are very complicated and exciting. This makes you somewhat sad when they have to dock with such 2D support characters. Evil Lieutenant Cmdr. Hanks, Sunday's wife (Charlize Theron), colonel of a quirky diving school (Hull-Holbrook), and Cuba's love is the person I felt was not that deep. Those that can make these roles more substantial and effective are more time to develop them. Why is the colonelle always in his tower? Why is the wife Sunday bitter so much?
This is another strange question. What has become of Carl Brashear's wedding ceremony? If this movie is recording the life of this man, is not his wedding important? Maybe that's just me. But the glory of man is a perfect example of victory and faith surrounded by the human spirit. This movie will make you feel that person's struggle. What I believe is the reason why this powerful story is told. My hat gives you Carl Brashear. I truly admire your strength.
"Honor" is following the extraordinary life of Karl Blasher, the son of Kentucky's tenant who dreamed of becoming a naval diver. He joined the US Navy and was assigned to the kitchen with black people. President Truman ordered the abolition of all service, but the order can not prevent the prejudice of officials and sailors. After two years of writing, Brashear finally entered the diving school course. Everything is to make him fail. Desperately, he graduated from Navy diver. According to the naval regulations, his career ended, but Brazil opposed that rule. He reached the level of the main diver and owner, was the highest level of soldiers
Dear people may find it hard to believe that a man declared dead on arrival became the first cutting diver to work later in the US Navy and became the first African American to reach diver's identity But Carl Brashear is the one who did it. The movie "Glory of Glory" starring Cuba Gudin and Robert De Niro in 2000 only touched on the big adversities Karl Brasil faced in his life. His story is struggling
