Anorexia (AN) is generally regarded as a problem of women in the world. But men also risk such psychosis. From a statistical point of view, women have a high proportion of AN, but men should be recognized as well when they are in danger. Gender stereotypes in our culture are focused on women of AN. Almost no attention has been paid to this imbalance and most studies have been done on general questions about AN such as cause and treatment, most of which are done to female subjects (Soban, 2006).
Anorexia is a major problem for men and women of all ages. Anorexia nervosa, or abbreviated anorexia is a disease that people get. There are many reasons that people are anorexia. Anorexia nervosa usually occurs in adolescence, more females than men, but some men have anorexia. There are two types of anorexia. One type is associated with another common eating disorder called hyperphagia. In that case, one will vomit after swimming, trying to remove it. The second type is completely restricted food. Since this is an obsessive fear of weight gain, individuals will try to manage weight through hunger, clearance, vomiting, excessive exercise and weight loss medication.
Nervous anorexia - A male or female with anorexia nervosa usually gains weight, refuses to maintain a healthy body weight, and there is a strong concern about unrealistic perception of the body image. Many people with nervous anorexia severely limit the amount of food they consume and treat themselves as overweight, even though they are obviously of low weight. Anorexia can have catastrophic health effects such as brain injury, multiple organ failure, bone loss, heart disease and infertility. This sick person has the highest risk of death
Anorexia is a mental disorder with devastating physical consequences. Anorexia nervosa is characterized by low body weight and body distortion and shows a strong fear of weight gain by depriving the body of food. It often occurs at the same time as the level of exercise increases. Anorexia mainly has two subtypes. Restriction: This is the most common type of anorexia, and one person severely limits food intake. Restrictions can take many forms (keeping a very low number of calories, limiting the kind of food you eat, eating only one meal a day), and obeying compulsory and strict rules ( For example, eating one color of food)
