Wherever it is in the world, service is the core of all Kiwanis clubs. Kiwanis members are doing nearly 150,000 service projects each year, investing in more than 18.5 million hours of service activities, collecting nearly $ 100 million funds for communities, families and projects.

Families contain resources within their boundaries. This is because members of the family mean the legal requirements for the financial resources of other families and the obligation of transferring resources to members of other families. These demands and obligations are achieved legally and culturally through norms and customs. People belonging to this family insist on these resources through non-market mechanisms and those not belonging to them can not claim them or they can get them through the market mechanism. This will occur between generations. Couples share resources that they do not share with external families and parents often need to allocate time, money, and services to their fountains and do not provide these resources to other children.

Al-Anon and Alateen provide a wide range of free materials for families. These organizations provide mutual aid groups. Members will not give guidance or advice to other members. Instead, they share their personal experiences and stories and urge other members to 'take away their favorite things and leave other members' to other members. People in the community often understand the value of various ecological resources. We can conduct a survey to ask community members what resources are important to them. They can also be a way of prioritizing among the different resources that need attention. However, investigations sometimes do not show that people do not care about the characteristics of one ecological resource or other community rather than others. The reasons may include the impact on the local economy, the desire to protect entertainment resources, or the desire to manage the earth's resources tightly for future generations' interests. Although it may be inaccurate and difficult to interpret, the survey gains insight into the most important issues of the community.
