Our friend Judith King took pictures of Atlanta, Georgia in 1998 when Penny McHenry was still alive. Penny is the founder of the American Hydrangea Association and is the chairman for many years. This is her home and some hydrangeas later called Hydrangea "Penny Mac".

In 1909, the American Penny 's chief of India ceased to support Lincoln' s penny to commemorate the 100th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln 's birth. President Roosevelt believed that Lincoln was the Republican's largest Republican president's savior, and he also believed it was Lincoln's political heir. He hired a designer, Victor David Brenner, a Lithuanian immigrant and a friend of Roosevelt who knew him as a skilled sculptor and designer. Brenner respects the martyrdom of the President and the President shows respect for the form of a forward-looking portrait of empathy with Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln pennies are often called "wheat pennies" because the opposite side is the two wheat stalks. The design of the Wheat Center was created in 1958, reversed in commemoration of the design. Lincoln Penny is now the longest running design in the history of American mint. Lincoln Penny is also the first score in America, including the word "God we believe".

Victor David Brenner designed the American Lincoln Penny and abbreviated his famous name "V. D. B." Behind this beloved coin. It first entered circulation in 1909. Since then, it has experienced the same positive design, it is the longest running coin type in American history, and one of the most permanent coin type in the history of coins in the world I am connected. The design behind the Lincoln Center was first changed from the "Wheat Ears" type to the Lincoln Memorial in 1959. In addition, US Mint changed penny's metal composition several times.
