Medieval England

In the Middle Ages England is said to "eat apples everyday to keep dentists away." This has become common in today's society. We do not think how it reflects the concept of medical care in our lives. We started to understand the value of an easy way to maintain our health. But this is not the case in the Middle Ages. Most "medical practices" at the time were based on superstition, ancient sentences, myths or church instructions. The role of medieval churches in the Middle Ages is far beyond the role the church plays today. In the Middle Ages England, the church dominated the lives of all. People in the Middle Ages believe in God, Heaven, and Hell, whether they are rural farmers or urban people. Everyone is afraid of hell, and people will be told to wait for their pure fear of hell in their weekly service.

The medieval church played a very important role in the Middle Ages. In medieval Britain, the church dominated the majority of the country and citizens. Most people in the Middle Ages believe in the existence of God, Heaven and Hell. From the beginning of the Middle Ages, people were taught through the church the only way to reach heaven if the church permitted them. Regardless of the status, medieval churches also dominate the country and people. Most of the farmers work for free at the site of most of the church, it has been producing crops and food for the clergy of the church rather than his own family. People in lower class such as migrant workers and farmers pay 10% of income to the church. This is called one tenth and you can pay with goods or money. Products are usually kept at one-tenth of the barn. If they did not pay a tenth, they were told that their soul would go to hell when they died.

The way of life of medieval farmers in England was very difficult and harsh. Many people are farmers of agricultural land owned by the lords and their lives are dominated by agriculture over the years. Several tasks have to be done at certain times of the year. Their lives are very difficult, but there is little rebellion due to the strict law and order system. Farmers were at the bottom of the feudal system and had to abide by their local rulers. And they vowed allegiance to the Bible. They swore to their lords that they pledge the same vow as the Duke, Earl, or Baron that owns the property of the Duke.
