The new media technology is rapidly evolving the practice of the media industry and mass communication. New media technology is application of digital (computer) technology in mass communication. In just a few years, two major factors related to technology have changed the perspective of the media. The Internet has become a medium of communication. The Internet has only just begun, but the impact on society, business, and the government was amazing. In addition, the essential interactivity and immediacy of digital technology has changed the media production and business model of all media. Traditional media and new media are integrated and interact, that is, media convergence. It is therefore becoming increasingly important to understand the new media technology and the changes it brings to the media industry. In just a few years, digital technology has become an important part of media production and distribution.

New media technology is the application of digital (computer) technology in the production, distribution, storage and use of mass media, especially media. Digital technology provides bidirectional, nonlinear communication, and a new economy among the media it brings. This has caused the evolution of traditional media as technology features were introduced and usage and format changed to accommodate new media. Because digital technology influences the mass media, it also brings cultural influences. New media technology is digital technology used in mass communication. Clearly, the Internet is a new media technology. Satellite and cable data transmission, computer aided research, multimedia publishing, and even word processing are the same. This technology changes the production method, distribution method, display method and storage method of all media. If properly used, digital media can talk to consumers more effectively than traditional media.

With the advent of new technology, people can enjoy the benefits and results of high-tech media. This is much faster than the old traditional media. This new mass media technology includes a wide range of mobile phones, i-pod, Internet and computers. According to Rya Fulk; Williams and Rice, the Internet has a considerable influence on people's way of communicating. As predicted by Chesebro and Bonsall, the Internet is changing how and when people interact within all social systems. The Internet is slowly changing, but I am changing my personal communication positively. Thanks to the Internet, many new communication channels are born today, including various social networking sites, instant messaging, e-mail, blogs, Viber, Whats applications, Internet TV, and other mass communication channels.
