Measurement is one way teachers introduce the usefulness and practicality of mathematics to students. In the measurement, you need to compare the properties (distance, surface, volume, mass, time, temperature) or known criteria between the two objects. Measurements also introduce students important concepts such as accuracy, approximation, tolerance, error and size. With lesson plans from kindergarten to 12th grade, students can understand the measurable properties of objects and units, systems and processes of measurement. Unit planning project focuses on mathematical measurements and students examine habits and standard measurement units, understand linear distance measurements, and compare measurement units using the acquired knowledge.
