Arthur Miller's theater "The Crucible" was written in the 1950s following McCarthyism. In 1692 and 1693, a Salem Witch trial took place in Salem, Massachusetts. Girls who are thought to be involved in magic are responsible for these experiments. Senator McCarthy took office in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Senator McCarthy and some of his allies were in charge of the hysteria of the United States in the 1950s. Panic was also the result of the Cold War caused by communist panic after the Second World War.

Comparing the historical massacre with the drama 'Chu', it is clear that both have large hysterical aspects. What is the cause of this huge hysteria? Then the reason for massive hysteria is that the community is easily deceived by this belief. People are being deceived so easily that there are reasons for the appearance of two examples of God. The community believes that because the Tyrannical Superego says that this is God's desire, the community will panic and start to trust this person soon. The reason we saw that the idea that we kill the Jews is no problem at all. That is why large hysteria affects the entire community and has a sustainable impact all the time.

Large scale hysteria is a period in which everyone in the community is immune to this behavior and can let go. The reason for massive hysteria is that many people believe in something and then they affect everyone in the community. The main reason to understand the big hysteria in more detail is that people are very weak in panic. There are many stories and other literature explaining this traditional large scale hysteria in great detail. One of the stories is "crucible" of Arthur Miller. Because they are condemned by magic, this story is about the homicide community. The historical period that can be associated with "crucible" was around mid 1900. An incident called Holocaust occurred during this period. The Holocaust was an era when the Nazis decided to join without killing all the Jews without any reason. These are just two comparable examples of the huge hysteria we have seen in history.
