Mascot Wizard

The Mascot Wizard is a simple desktop tool that provides a drag-and-drop interface for sending peptide quality fingerprint searches to the Mascot server. Internally, the Mascot Wizard uses the Mascot Distiller library to process raw data files to a high-quality peak list.

Only one file can be processed at one time, but it is all automated. However, the Mascot Wizard is only used for peptide quality fingerprints. If MS / MS data is included in the file, you need to use Mascot Distiller for processing.

All configuration options are in a single tabbed dialog. For example, this is the Mascot Server tab.

Mascot servers can be Matrix Science's public website or your own internal server. If you are using a general web site, you need to enter a valid user name and email address.
