When Mary Zimmerman adopted the old text script, her coaching process was interwoven in her own way of interacting with text, both relying on each other. She writes these adaptations from non-dramatic texts written at the same time each night, as well as rehearsals and improvisations before the play. The rehearsal process affects the text, and the text enriches the rehearsal process so that no one can exist. Every rehearsal is the same, but Zimmerman pointed out that at "performance archeology" she is always "open to possibilities", so each production is unique.

The script described in this review was written by Mary Zimmerman and was originally translated by Mary Zimmerman.
