Mankind has almost destroyed the world by global warming, but now it is more ominous. North American indigenous people are hunting their bone marrow and harvesting them. It's the key to recover what the others lost: the ability to dream. In this dark world, Fred and his colleagues struggled to survive because they grew older north. For the moment, it means that survival remains hidden - but what they do not know is that one of them has a secret to defeat a bone thief.

The bone marrow thief looks like a literary Trojan horse. At first glance it may only be misunderstood in the foresightful young adult story. But as I began to understand these roles, I understood that The Marrow Thieves is a fable of a residential school. This is a quiet massacre story that indigenous peoples (and their supporters) are being criticized for being talking and being harassed. This is a story of community strife, a wonderful story about hope and love. This is the reality of finding laughter, love, family and adventure in pain and oppression.

Bone marrow thieves have a structure that does not fit in a mold. The main story is that Frenchie and his family are hiking in the forest, but The Marrow Thieves also includes stories from stories detailing the past of different group members. The man's husband was kidnapped by a recruiter. Wab is a victim of some brutal violence. Minerva, the oldest member of their group. Unlike most YA's distant novels, this is not an action wrap. It is fun to read this type more slowly and at more reflexive speed. It just shows that it is good to break the mold

The hunter of the story of Dimaline is "recruiter". They are French, and everyone else is hiding. When a French man was eleven years old, Marrow Thieves began to chase from the recruit who wanted to let indigenous people go to the bone marrow. This is a specific reference for past residential schools, most of which come from indigenous children. This is one of many points of The Marrow Thieves - painful or refined - the story of Dimaline resonates with me. Sometimes I sympathize with other local readers, especially Anishinabe. Several tribal countries are also mentioned here.

Marrow Thieves was defended by R & B's singer-songwriter Jully Black at this year's Canadian Reading Competition. Returning to the first day, Black supported The Marrow Thieves as a hopeful book, acknowledging the power of young voices, listening to stories, and understanding the importance of Canada's first cheating. During the opening day 3, she told that the book felt more important than ever.
