Marriage is a sacred marriage and has always been a sacred agreement between men and women. This definition is written in the Bible and is consecrated by God. As Japan is based on the principles of the Bible, we should not support actions contrary to our founding beliefs, such as legalizing same-sex marriages. Regarding gay marriage, Americans have various opinions. Studies show that most Americans oppose gay marriages, but when deciding who should make the law, Americans are divided into two halves (Bayles 6).
