By reading this article, I learned that magic is right for me. My understanding of this novel is due to realism. Alice Hoffman's attitude in this book seems to be that she uses it as an example of magical realism. And it intrigues the reader about what happens next. - Do you remember how David Copperfield annihilated the Statue of Liberty? You still remember how he had crossed the Great Wall of China. You remember that famous street magician David Brian lived in a refrigerator on the street in London without eating or drinking for seven days. These famous magicians are wonderful. But we all know that magic is a fake, why did a mage succeed so well?
