Neuroscientist Mark Brunberg wrote the book "Basic instinct: the origin of action". And it develops mainly on the theme of animal and human behavior. As stated many times in a book, it simply means that animals and humans are born with certain behavior or occur naturally. An instinctive example written at the beginning of the book is "It is in a hurry to traffic approaching a mother who panicked to save her wandering children" (p.xi). In addition to this example, other instinctive examples are mentioned in the introduction.
Freud stated that instinct is the ultimate cause of all behavior. The two basic instincts are eroticism (love) and destiny or death instinct. The purpose of Eros is to build and maintain unity through human relations. On the other hand, the purpose of death instinct is to eliminate touch and unity through destruction (Floyd, 1949, p. 18). These two instincts can be combined by repulsive interactions or by attraction (Floyd, 1949, p. 19). Freud (1949) argues that sexual life begins with results performed immediately after birth (p. 23). The four main stages of sexual development are the oral stage, the abuse - anus stage, the penis stage, and the reproductive stage, each stage characterized by a specific event. In the oral stage, individuals emphasize the need to fill the oral cavity and the oral cavity appears as the first production area (Floyd, 1949, p. 24).
Freud believes that all human behavior is being driven by drive or instinct. At first he called them instinct. These instincts stimulate the living of a species by (a) stimulating the life of an individual, motivating him or her for food and water, and (b) motivating him or her to have sex. These instinctive energy of life, "charm" which gives power to our mind is called "sexual desire" from Latin "my desire".
Sigmund Freud believes that human behavior is driven by two biological instincts, erotism and instinct of life, the instincts of life and the instinct of death. The instincts of life contain sexual motives, and the instinct of death includes motivation for attack. He suggested that people should deal with these aggressive instincts seriously and nonviolently by participating in competitive activities. (Steven, 2002) William McDougall also pioneered instinct theory In his theory instinct consists of three parts: perception, behavior, and emotion. Humans have a perceptual tendency to concentrate on stimuli important to their goals. Human powers and energies are called "emotional cores" between target perception and target movement. Mcdougal cites 17 instincts.
