Mark 10:32-45 – Jesus Teaches on His Passion and Resurrection for the Third Time

Jesus talks about his passion and resurrection again. After that, he explained that the life of his disciples is the life of a servant.

The background of the third announcement is the way to Jerusalem. This announcement is the most detailed of the three given by Jesus in the second part of Mark. It consists of eight verbs representing the future Jesus is waiting for Jesus (10: 32-34). James and John misunderstood in his coming kingdom and demanded honor (10: 35 - 40). Interpretation of the demands of James and John 10: 35-45 The background call for Christian disciples comes from chapter 8 verse 22 - chapter 10 verse 52.
