Marie Curie

Marie Curie Mary Sklodowska Curie was born in Warsaw, Poland on 7th November 1867 and is the fifth smallest child. Mary's mother is the principal of All Girls School and Mary's father teaches mathematics and physics. Even though I was young, Mary always wanted to learn. At the age of 4, Mary learned how to read basically even if his parents did not agree. She is two years younger than her classmate, but she still receives higher education. She graduated at the age of 16 and won the gold medal.

Marie Sklodowska Curie (1867-1934): World famous scientist Marie Curie is the first woman who won the Nobel Prize and is the only scientist who won two Nobel Prizes and two different scientific awards. Marie Curie, born in Poland, is a chemist and a physicist. The contribution of her excellent chemist is, inter alia, the discovery of chemical elements, Pol and radium. Linus Pauling (1901-1994): America's famous chemist and biochemist, Linus Pauling, is one of the best scientists ever and today has more than 1,200 scientific papers and papers published. He is also the chemistry field of quantum mechanics - the founder of quantum chemistry. Linus Pauling's contribution to chemistry includes discoveries such as chemical bonds between atoms.

Marie Curie - Marie Curie is a pioneer in radioactivity research. She was the second Nobel laureate and was the only one who won two different sciences (Linus Pauling received the Chemistry and Peace award). She was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize. Mrs Curie is the first female professor at Sorbonne University. Mary Daly - (USA, 1921-2003) In 1947, Mary Daly became the first African-American woman who got a doctor's degree. In chemistry most of her career has been used as a professor at the university. In addition to her study she developed a course to help minority students study in medicine and graduate school and to help.

Many biographies are dedicated to her. In 1938, her daughter, Curie, announced Mrs. Curie. In 1987, Françoise Giroud wrote "Mrs. Curie: Life". In 2005, Barbara Goldsmith wrote "Compulsive Genius: Madame Curie's Inner World". In 2011, Lauren Redniss announced radioactivity: Mary and Pierre Curie, a story about love and radiation. Greer Garson and Walter Pidgeon starred in her 1943 Oscar nomination work, her life as Curie. Recently, in 1997, French movie about Pierre and Mary Curie, Reppalmud M Schutz was released. It was adapted from the same name. In this movie, Madame Curie is played by Isabel Hupert.
