Margaret Corbin

Margaret Corbin, former Margaret Cochran, (Nov. 12, 1751, Western Pennsylvania [Franklin County, current Pennsylvania state] - January 16, 1800, West Chester County, New York), the American Revolution Heroine, her courage and sacrifice Is recognized by the new US government.

When Margaret Cochran was 5 years old, she lost her parents in Indian assault and married John Corbin in 1772.
