This manuscript from about 1350 is one of the oldest surviving Marco Polo trips (Marco Polo trip) and Venice merchant Marco Polo (approx. 1254 - 1324) got adventure in Central Asia and the Far East in the latter half of the 13 th century I experienced it. This may be one of five manuscripts on Marco Polo trip belonging to Charles V of France (1364-80 governance). Later it became part of the library of French book collector Alexandre Petau. In 1650 Queen Christina (1626-89) was sold. With his father Niccolò and his uncle, Maffeo, Marco Polo traveled China overland in 1271-75. He then spent 17 years serving Genghis Khan and the grandson of the Chinese conquistador Kublai Khan (1215-94), and for that purpose he did missions in China, South and Southeast Asia. Three Venetians returned to their hometown by boat between 1292 and 1995. He was caught by the Genoans in 1296.
