A little rain fell last week, but apart from this, your plan is to play tennis or play golf. Fortunately, we jump into Yap Island. A sea umbrella will protect us from a cold shower
While waiting for Manta Rays to arrive at the cleaning station in the Goofnuw Strait, I found the first crocodile fish. Indeed, if I were the first diver to meet a crocodile fish, give it another name. When I saw this magical animal, the first thing I thought was a duck. When I was moving around him, he did not move, only the eyes followed my movements. This gave him some personalities, ... a bit special. My next thought brought a big laugh, and I spit out my adjustment device almost. "Donald" Donald (duck) crocodile, ... 嗨 Donald, nice to meet ... "
But my illusion made it impossible to enter Peter's Wonderland deeper ... a huge female bat appeared on the horizon and slid into the cleaning station. Open her quilting and let the detergent enter ... She is hovering over the head of the coral, but as it leaves in a few minutes, only her expression is beautiful today. We also moved to the second stop ...,,,,,. When we had the second Manta, we swam in front of our team ... to swim to us. I do not have time to signal other divers, I just stop breathing with them on the bottom. The big light showed no signs of hesitation and continued traveling. This often happens during my three weeks at Yap, but I always get fierce excitement. Yes, I am in a good mood.
After a few minutes the contours of the other light appeared above us. This time is the light of the eagle. Like a kite, he is hovering at the moment. Then change direction and navigate toward the downstream. Until his wings almost touched my camera, he was approaching in each circle ...
Yes, these are magical moments of diving, ... when you want to flood forever. But this is impossible so we can comfort ourselves just looking forward to the next diving ... the next exciting encounter on Yap Island. Let's meet again!
Unfortunately those who have stayed at the hotel ... they also enjoy life ... it is raining. Of course, they need parasols to prevent beer from thinning.
Bats are members of Myliobatiformes and consist of stingray and their relatives. Manta is part of the genus Myliobatidae and is classified together with the Mobula devil ray of the subfamily Mobulinae. In 2017, Mobula was found to be a subfamily of bats by DNA analysis and slight morphology, suggesting that Manta is synonymous with Mobula. Manta evolved from benthic rose stingray, and ultimately formed more wing-like pectoral fin. M. birostris still has stinging spines in the form of residual spine. Most of the mouth of the light is on the underside of the head, but it is in front of you in Manta. Batley and Devilleay are the only ray types evolved into a filter feeder.
Thai bat ray belongs to 10 species, of which the gigantic bat is the largest species. They are usually lonely creatures, sometimes swimming in small, loosely organized schools. Sometimes a small bat forms a flight in the air like a stealth bombing squad. In addition to large sharks and orcas, manta has few natural enemies. Occasionally you will find shark bite. Unlike most other lights and skates, they tend to spend time on the ocean floor and move the body. They use large wing pectoral fin to slide into water as they fly as birds fly across the sky.
