Management Study at a Library

Introduction Management defined by Daft and Marcy is to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently by planning, organizing, guiding and managing organization resources. By investigating this community service organization, our team can expand our learning outside the classroom and apply management theory to the real world. The website we are applying to participate in is the Venice Library. Our team believes that trying to observe the actual operation of the library on a first-come-first-served basis is a difficult task compared with other non-profit organizations.

Problems faced by library management often overlap with the problems confronted by the management of non-profit organizations.
