Man’yōshū and Kokinshū National Pride and Identity

Manyoshu is written from the second half of the 7th century to the first half of the eighth century and contains 4,516 poems. Manyoshu compiler is not known, but one of the major compilers is thought to be otomo and others. Kinboard autumn contains 1,111 poems edited around 905 AD. The Editor of Kimon-son was ordered by Emperor Daigo and his mission was appointed as "Tsutsui no Tsuki", "Treasures of trees", "Oshikonachinen" and "Mad's Tadmin" .
