You rarely read the life of Malgudi in his novel as a child and do not see the Indians who did not try to draw. Narayan is featured in some of his most famous books, including Swami and his friends (1936), Margudy era (1942). He was the first Indian novelist who wrote in English, gathered readers around the world and dramatically changed the literary circles of the country. This award-winning writer is known for his work, Midnight Child (1981) who won the Booker Award and Satanic poetry controversial (1988). But this acclaimed writer has 12 published novels and some nonfiction works and is an important person in South Asian literary circles.

At Malgudi Days, a collection of short stories written by R. K Narayan, each story includes a character like the owner of a bakery. His short story "Missing post" shows a family relationship between a mailman and the person he sent the post. Mr. Tanapa of mail delivery is particularly close to Mr. Ramanujam, and Mr. Ranunujam can not find a league suitable for his daughter (their daughter abandoned her official "minor" position and married within a few minutes If you do not, your parents will be stubborn). Thanapa found the right match for Ramanujam's daughter and saved the wedding later.

R. K. Narayan was always one of my favorite Indian writers and Ruskin Bond. Many people shake their heads sorry if they have heard about him when I tend to casually ask friends and family around me. However, thanks to the TV series Malgudi Days aired on Doordarshan in the 1980s, a lot of people were very acquainted with his creative fictitious city Malgudi. Several people also saw a movie guide starring Dev Anand. There are few people who know that the original novel based on this movie was written by R. K Narayan in 1958. Another interesting fact I have recently discovered is that R. K Narayan is a brother of R.K. Laxman is one of the most famous cartoonists in India and is the creator of "ordinary people".
