Making Your First Class Meeting Truly First Class!

First of all, I will attend all classes meetings. Leap at university is a big temptation. Because you are likely to be away from home, an authoritative person is not looking at your shoulders to ensure that you do homework and go to class. Many of your professors will not participate; if you are an adult and responsible for your choice, they will be willing to give enough rope to hang yourself on you. In a small class like LMU, your professor will notice when you are absent. Do not give in to the temptation to skip the course. If you skip, understanding will be lost, and extra work will occur if you try to catch up.

Your first commitment at Rensselaer is your academic member and you must attend all class meetings. However, unexpected events or planned opportunities may conflict with scheduled lesson times.
