MANCOL We can see the wish of Pigafetta prove that their voyage proves worth for the loss of 4 out of 5 boats and only 18 crew members leave behind. One of the main story points of Pigafetta is the crew's ability to access island food they encounter. It is especially important to show food to these crew members as they want that this new route around the Earth can be used for future voyages. "Since you are suffering from hunger before you discover, you are likely to call this land a place of promise, so do not starve as you are ready to give up and ship the ship many times" (140) .
A man attacked by a foreigner. A group of men casually watched their captains die. Ferdinand Magellan is a Portuguese explorer who was captain of Spain's awarded fleet in 1519. Magellan traveled the world with his fleet and found a new trade route to the Spice Islands. He proved that the world is round. Magellan was a skilled navigator and captain, but his brutality towards Filipinos asked his crew as to whether he deserves protection when he died. Magellan is cruel and not ready, so it is not worth protecting.
By the end of October 1517, Magellan became a Spanish citizen in Seville. Charles I sponsored Magellan sailing on 20th September 1519. The fleet consisted of five ships and approximately 200 crew members. The five ships are Magellan captain Trinidad, captain of Juan de Cartagena captain San Antonio, captain Captain Concepion of Gaspar de Quesada, captain Victoria of Luis de Mendoza, and Juans Santiago. Rano is the captain. They stopped on the Canary Islands to receive some supplies and then continued to the Atlantic Ocean. Magellan received a letter saying that the Spanish officers are planning to kill him after leaving the Canary Islands. Magellan was cautious about most trips. They sailed for a couple of weeks, and by November 20 they had crossed the equator and entered the southern hemisphere. In May, they dropped in the Gulf of Guanabara in the southeastern part of Brazil and supplemented them.
The two nearest galaxies, the Magellanic Nebula of the southern hemisphere, were named after Magellan after 1800 years. The McGlen Tester mapped Venus' planet from 1990 to 1994, named after Magellan. Ferdinand Magellan's rail car (also called American Auto 1) is a former Pullman observation vehicle rebuilt by the US government from 1943 to 1958. Three craters named after Magellan (two in January and one in Mars) use the spelling "Magelhaens". These names were adopted by Magelhaens on the Moon, 1976 (Magelhaens on Mars) and 2006 (Magelhaens A on the Moon) in 1935. Asteroids 4055 Magellan and Venus (1989-1994) discovered in 1985 were named after him.
