Macbeth - Characters In The First Three Acts

Compare and contrast the character of Macbeth and Macbeth in Macbeth 's first three works. Macbeth in the tragedy is a thorough, intensive and tragic study of ambition. The play itself is the story of a man prompted and predicted by his wife to do suicide to gain power. His desire to show off his decisions only leads to his collapse, and he and his wife only think that "a dead butcher and his devil is like a queen".
