Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe and His Work

Modernists are enthusiastic about rebuilding the world through new ideas and modern techniques, structurally designing it, and providing unprecedented architecture. In the 20th century, architecture is greatly fluctuating from art to industrialization. As technology evolved, advances in technology brought new materials and tools. Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was one of many architects of the time. In addition to conceiving a new structural system, we applied the concept of modern style to numerous designs throughout his career.

Lafayette Park is the Renaissance community on the east side of the city, part of the residential area of ​​Ludwig Meiss van der Rohe. The development of 78 acres (32 hectares) was originally called Gratiot Park. Curated by Mies van der Rohe, Ludwig Hilberseimer, Alfred Caldwell, this hotel consists of 19 acres (7.7 hectares) landscape. Especially in southwestern Detroit, immigrants have contributed to the revitalization of the city. In recent years, Southwest Detroit has experienced a rapidly growing economy, a new home, increased commercial availability, and the recently opened Mexico International Welcome Center has proved this.

Ludwig Meiss van der Rohe was born in Aachen, Germany on March 27, 1886 and is the youngest among five children. He worked as a disciple of a brickworker and had valuable experience and worked at his father's stone cutting shop that later helped him do a lot of work. It is a building. Prior to leaving his family and hometown, Mies worked at several local design companies and gained some experience. At the age of 19 (1905), he moved to Berlin to work at Bruno Paul's interior design office. It was that he was concentrating on it in contact with the furniture design. When he was studying at Walter Gropius and Le Corbusier, he claimed that he was an apprentice to Peter Behrens (1908 - 1912), Mies' architectural background began at the age of 22. Peter Behrens is an architect specializing in designing factories and houses, exploring modern design theory and teaching Mies using its building capabilities.
