Lucy Mode Montgomery's famous Canadian novel "ANNE OF GREEN GABLES" author Lucy mode Montgomery was born on 30 November 1874 at Clifton, Prince Edward Island (now New London). At the age of two, the mother died of tuberculosis. Her father was a businessman, he remarried and moved. Montgomery was raised by her grandparents in Cavendish. This place is isolated and not particularly happy for her childhood. She grew with strict disciplinary action and punishment for a few reasons.

Author with a permanent legacy. Lucy Modum Montgomery is best known as the creator of Anne 's redhead orphan "Anne" of Anne of "Green Gable". This book was published in 1908, making Prince Edward Island famous. Montgomery has a perfect literary career and has published 20 novels, over 530 short stories, 500 poems, 30 essays. Born by strict grandparents, she is a lonely, lonely child with a lively imagination. Later she moved on to Ontario where she struggled as a wife, mother, and male mistress, suffering from her husband's religious melancholy. She also filed suit against the publisher against her own health. In 1911 she married Pastor Ewen Macdonald and moved to Leaskdale, Ontario where he raised three children and then moved to Ontario State Norval with his family in 1926. Montgomery died in Toronto in 1942 and was buried in Cavendish
