Louis Zamperini

Last month, America lost a hero. Some people may say they are unique. Someone occupied the place with much of his achievements, the fewest people will appear in the Olympic Games. His life later influenced best-selling and Hollywood movies.

That hero is Louisan Perini. As his son of Italian immigrants, when his family moves from New York to Southern California, Zamperini does not speak English. His English challenge made him a target of bullying, but he soon began getting tired of them and started boxing to defend himself. Effectiveness

He grew up, overcomes bullying and succeeded in a long distance runner. He set up a status record. He received a scholarship from the University of Southern California, acknowledged for his running abilities. At the age of 19, he was qualified for the Olympic Games - the youngest American qualifying history ever. He soon joined the 1936 competition in Berlin, and his rapid end in the 5000 meter race pulled attention of Adolf Hitler who claimed to hold a private conference.

Within five years, he was appointed lieutenant and waged a war against a man who insisted on seeing him.

When he joined the Pacific campaign in 1943, his plane was severely damaged and crashed. Eight out of eleven crew members died soon, but Zamperini and the other two survived. While avoiding shark attacks and threats on the high seas, they rely on rainwater and raw fish and flocked to lifeboats. In the meantime, another survivor died

After over 40 days of sea voyage, Zamperini and other survivors were eventually captured by the Japanese Navy. After more than two years, they were imprisoned and tortured until the end of the war. But Zamperini still survived

He returned home and married his wife Cynthia until death in 2001. Even after the war, Zamperini continues to be an inspiring lecturer and most of the public speech focuses on forgiveness. A few years after the war, Zamperini met some of his torture prisoners in Tokyo and did something unimaginable - he forgave them.

Until his death on July 2, 2014, he lived an easy life in his own way in Southern California. His death showed extraordinary 97 year old exceptional death. This is his memory and the legacy of this American hero.

Lewis Zan Perini is always excellent. After falling into trouble, Zamperini found a way out of the track and the field. When 4 minutes was one of the most difficult goals of sports, Zamperini surpassed the limit. Zamperini made a record of a nationwide high school at 4: 21.3 in 1934. He received a scholarship from the University of Southern California and began training the Olympic Games in 1936. At the Berlin Olympics, Zamperini finished eighth in the 5000 meter race, but completed the last lap of all athletes with the fastest score in 56 seconds, which has never been before. "Complete" is an interesting nonfiction novel by Laura Hillenbrand highlighting the life and characteristics of Louis Zamperini who participated in the 1936 Olympics. Unfortunately, due to World War II Louisan Perini could not participate in these Olympic games but decided to join the army to fight the Axis. When a Japanese fighter pilot fires his plane, his inner strength and resilience are tested in the second half of the novel and he can stay in the middle of the Pacific without food and other food. It seems that the situation will not get worse, but Louis Zamperini and his companion were later discovered by Japanese and put in prison camps.
